Our Generation - Praise And Prayer (FANTASTIC 60s GARAGE PSYCHEDELIC CHRISTIAN ROCK US 1972?)

"Our Generation" were from Nyack, NY.
"Our Generation" on "Praise And Prayer" (Generation OG1072, 1972?) were "Dwight Craver" (guitar), "Myrna Craver" (vocals), "John Oostdyk" (guitar and vocals), "Donna Oostdyk" (vocals), "Sharon Spear" (vocals), "Steve Mc Tamney" (drums), "Glenn Eberhardt" (guitar), and "Lowell Weeks" (bass guitar).
Excerpt from Ken Scott, The Archivist: The "Our Generation" delivers another first-rate Psychedelic juggernaut here, with some of their loudest moments on record.

"Hello Friends" begins the album with drums and a pulsating bassline, soon joined by fierce fuzz, Psychedelic organ and odd spacey choral harmonies.
Likewise ‘"Praise’" bursts forth with a vicious guitar riff worthy of "Jefferson Airplane" or "Big Brother and The Holding Company". Quieter moods are expressed on organ-backed ballads "Only A Man" and "Have You Tried This One Called Jesus", as well as covers of Paul Stookey’s "Hymn" and The Youngbloods’ "Get Together"
.

The latter has a female lead vocal for a change, as does side two’s opener "Sacrifice". Also includes "Blind Faith"’'s "Presence Of The Lord" where they super-size the guitar break into extended total fuzz mayhem.

Well how's that for a balanced diet: Satanic Black Metal in the evening, Xian Psychedelic Fuzz in the morning!
